About the Rib Designer

Welcome to the Raining Dogs & Tools Suite, a core part of the PotteryTech system.

This web application is specifically built for ceramic artists to design custom pottery ribs. Trace profiles against photos of your pots, perfect your curves, add grip holes, and lock straight edges to retain 90-degree reference faces.

Export Options:

• 🖨️ STL (3D Print): Automatically pulls your drawing into a solid 3D object based on your "T" (Thickness). Drag this file straight into your 3D Printer slicer!
• 💾 SVG: Saves an editable 2D vector file. You can import this file back into this tool later.
• ⚙️ DXF: A specialized 2D format for importing into professional engineering software.

Manage Custom Templates

Your custom ribs are saved in your browser's local memory. You can download a backup file to keep them safe, or restore them to a different device.
